life in an instant

All of life takes place in that gap, those millimeters of space are all the time we have on this spinning rock that we call home, after that nothing feels quite like it does here. all the time we have to experience pain, love, lust, loss the whole gamut of human emotion and we spend it in front of our computers creating a life that is really nothing but a combination of ones and zeroes. why aren't we outside, interacting with one another? soon we'll end up like the people of Krypton; living alone in giant towers only interacting with people through holograms and view screens. I wonder what God thinks of us now?

  1. Who says what we create through online interaction is any less real then actually being "out there" and doing it? interestingly enough, there is no difference between the mind "remembering" something and actually living through it. So in a sense, if you've done the real thing once, you've done it a thousand times as far as your brain is concerned. Of course, all this is besides the point as you always have the option of going out in the world and living in the old sense of the word.

Really glad you're on blogger buddy. Looking forward to many entries.

  2. If we end up like the people of Krypton...do you think we'd have super powers too? :D I like your thoughts- also, good language usage. Write more :)

  3. sadly no, the only reason superman got his powers was because our sun was yellow and krypton's was red. that would be cool though, wouldn't it?
